Common Questions
What if something gets damaged?
We carry $25K in cargo insurance and $1M in general liability per move. In the rare case something happens, we make it right — but our wrapping process means damage basically doesn't happen.
What if I'm not fully packed when you arrive?
No worries — we'll start moving what's ready while you finish up. If you need us to pack boxes for you, we can help, but additional packing beyond what was quoted may be charged at an hourly rate. The main thing is we won't sit around idle — we'll keep things moving.
Can you provide a COI for my building?
Yes — we handle COIs (Certificates of Insurance) all the time. Most SF buildings require one before your move. Just let us know your building's requirements and we'll get it sent over, usually within 24 hours.
Are you licensed?
Yes — we're licensed by the California BHGS (Bureau of Household Goods and Services), which means we meet state requirements for insurance, safety, and consumer protection. Not all movers are. If a company can't give you a CAL-T number, that's a red flag.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can — especially for end-of-month dates which fill fast. That said, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute moves too. Get a quote and we'll let you know availability.
Do I need to be there the whole time?
We just need you there at the start (to walk us through) and at the end (to confirm everything's in). You don't have to hover — plus the bodycam has you covered.
What about parking and permits in SF?
We handle tight spaces all the time. If your building needs a parking permit or has specific move-in rules, just let us know and we'll plan around it.
